Tom Kitten

Ich werde eine Minibuchserie von Beatrix Potter basteln und das erste Buch habe ich bereits fertig.
Es ist Tom Kitten. Je nach Lust und Laune werden noch 10 bis 15 Titel folgen.
Ich mag die Bücher von Beatrix Potter sehr, vorallem die Illustrationen haben es mir angetan.

Die Bücher sind vollständig und lesbar und natürlich illustriert. Sie haben einen Rundrücken und sind nur ca. 2,4 x 1,8 cm klein.

Bald ist Weihnachten :-)

Bald nun ist Weihnachten. Ja, ich weiß, es dauert doch noch etwas und eigentlich ist ja noch Sommer. Aber heute habe ich schon mal angefangen, Weihnachtsminiaturen zu basteln. Ich mag die viktorianischen Bilder sehr und habe daraus einige Weihnachtskarten gebastelt. Sie sind nur 1,5 x 1,0 cm klein und mit Glitzer verziert. Hübsch, oder?

Antique Wall Maps

Heute hatte ich mal wieder Lust zum basteln und habe diese Karten angefertigt.
Sie wurden auf hochwertigem Papier gedruckt und mit einer Halterung versehen, die aussieht als könnte man die Karten einrollen. Theoretisch ist das auch möglich, aber sie werden dann nicht mehr so schön gerade hängen.

Eigentlich wollte ich heute meinen Koffer für die Messe in Rheda und unseren anschließenden Urlaub packen. Aber ich habe mich nicht von meinem Basteltisch trennen können und dieses Zauberspruchbuch gebastelt.

New book/ Fair Rheda-Wiedenbrück

Dieses Astronomiebuch sieht leicht benutzt aus. Es ist in Leder gebunden und kann nicht geschlossen werden.

Nur noch ein paar Tage und es geht wieder zur Messe nach Rheda-Wiedenbrück. Am 02.06.2012 wird sie zum 2. Mal am neuen Standort stattfinden. Ich freue mich schon sehr darauf. Mein Tisch befindet sich in der Halle und hat die Nummer 162.

New double deck pop up book

 

Dieses doppelstöckige Pop-Up Buch stellt ein Wohn- und Warenhaus da. In der oberen Etage befindet sich die Küche und das Wohnzimmer. In der unteren Etage gibt es ein Spielzeuggeschäft und eine Werkstatt. Das Buch kann natürlich auch zusammengeklappt und in ein Bücherregal gestellt werden. 

Es ist ca. 3 cm hoch und auseinandergeklappt ca. 4,5 cm breit.

Roses, open miniature books

Zur Zeit habe ich mal wieder einen kreativen Schub und gleich zwei neue Bücher angefertigt. Offene Bücher habe ich noch nicht so oft angefertigt, aber mit diesen bin ich recht zufrieden.
Sie haben ca. 20 Seiten, das Vorsatzpapier ist illustriert und der Einband ist aus Leder. Die Seiten habe ich fixiert, damit das Buch so schön offen liegen bleibt.

Nach dem ich über zwei Monate Bastelpause machte, hat mich heute die Kreativität gepackt und ich habe zwei neue Bücher angefertigt.
